If your Stripe onboarding fails during setup on CoHostMarket, don’t worry. Follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve verification issues and successfully link your account for payouts.

Why Your Stripe Verification May Fail

  • ID image is blurry, cropped, or not government-issued
  • Selfie does not match your submitted ID
  • Bank account name does not match your ID
  • Incorrect or incomplete address or business information
  • Tax form (W-9/W-8BEN) contains errors or missing details

How to Fix Your Verification

  • Log in to your CoHostMarket Dashboard
  • Go to My Account > Payout Preference
  • Click “Verify your account with Stripe” to re-access Stripe Express
  • Re-upload your documents or update incorrect fields

Stripe will reprocess your documents and usually responds within 24–48 hours.

Tips to Ensure Success

  • Take a clear photo of your ID with no glare or cropping
  • Use a recent utility bill or bank statement for proof of address
  • Make sure your bank account name exactly matches your verified ID
  • Enter consistent details across all sections (name, address, business type)
